“Once you have experienced what it’s like to have a truly ordered house, you’ll feel your whole world brighten.” — Marie Kondo

Philosophy

Known as the KonMari Method, you’ll learn the systems and strategies created by decluttering expert Marie Kondo as described in her 2014 New York Times best-selling book, “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up” that sold 10 million copies worldwide.

I am a Gold Certified KonMari consultant serving all of New England and beyond.

Process

Process

My process begins with either a free phone or in-person consultation in your home or office. As you explain what areas you’d like to work on, I’ll listen carefully and without judgment.

Then, I put together the decluttering plan, and if you agree, our work together begins. Over a series of meetings, we’ll sort those items you wish to keep, toss, or donate. I’ll teach you how to simplify, organize, and store the things you keep — clothing, books, papers, sentimental items — by category, so that when you want them, you have them. When you need them, they’re there. In addition, I’ll remove and distribute your donation items to a local charity and provide you with tax-deductible receipts.

I will be, and remain, your partner every step of the way!

Fees

Every client and situation is unique. I’ll assess your decluttering project and provide a custom-designed plan to meet your needs and budget. Clients who fulfill “homework” assignments, independent of the consultant, are able to reduce the number of hours required to complete the decluttering project.

For projects outside of Rhode Island (my home base), there is a mileage fee for travel, and lodging when necessary. All such cost estimates will be provided in advance. Payment is due at the end of each lesson by credit card, cash or check.

Once you’re my client I’ll always be just an email away to offer guidance and answer questions. And, if over time you feel your space needs a tune-up, just reach out and we’ll make it happen.
